    ()

The ladies played a friendly match at home against Brickhampton on Saturday, 10 June 2017.

bigpicThe team was captained by Ros Fenney with Jan Sullivan, Carole Hatt, Jeannie Williams, Sue Dimond-Brown, Alex Hart, Hils Paul and Hilary Hatt. Ros said: ‘Running to make the first tee after an unexpected but awesome helicopter ride over the golf course and surrounding villages (Thank you Captain Schiff), added to the special day that was in store with our golfing friends from Brickhampton. With pairs fairly evenly matched, Jan and Carole led the way on what turned out to be a dry and warm but blustery day. Many congratulations to Jan and Carole, Hils and Hilary, and Sue and Jeannie for closing out their matches early. Alex and I, however, left it to the 18th to secure the point after what had been an extremely close match all the way round. With wins across the board it was time to catch up on news over a very welcome late lunch. Thank you green and pro staff for once again looking after us so well and to our 'magpie' for those 'moments' that you can never recreate. So a 4-0 win to the Ladies!!!!
