    Captained by Phil Schiaffino 08.07.17

bigpicA keen Puckrup B team gathered for breakfast looking forward to what lay ahead in the hope that a victory would make their Club Captain and in the absence of their B Team Captain proud, they did not disappoint!! What started off to be an awkward morning because only one member of the opposition decided to join us for brunch we soon realised that the lack of cholesterol intake and vitamin C would soon become their downfall and sure it was, with the stand in Captain determined to make a mark on his return to the B team it soon became apparent that a victory to the home team was inevitable and so it was, winning 4 1/2, 1 1/2, with special thanks going to Terry Caton and David Onions for making up the numbers for the opposition as a full squad from their side couldn't be fulfilled with out their help, so thank you guys. Cock of the day however was awarded to Mr Luke Purdy, for no reason other than for not being able to win a hole on the day and for calling the Club Captain, mate ?? The sun shined and the banter was relentless which was in my opinion is what makes the B Team a winning formula every time. Great result guys and great to see everyone having such a good laugh.
