The B Team had a mammoth 4/2 win away against Brickhampton - softening the opposition up ready for the Ryder cup next week.

bigpicThe team was captained by Rob Dore with Terry Caton, Paul Vedmore, Ady Barber, Gary Cooper, John Doyle, Dave Onions, Mark Farmer, Greg Hart Brown, Alex Galpin, Tony Harrison and Derek Sims. Rob said: ‘Everybody played very well on a course that was running well but very tight off the whites. The cock was won by two people, Del Sims and Mark Farmer, both playing the wrong ball ………. schoolboy error! However, they both went on to win in their pairings Cheers and thanks to all who played and made me proud.’
