The B Team were at home to Gloucester.

bigpicThe team was captained by Rob Dore, with Tony Byrne, Barry Jenkins, Steve Kent, Derek Sims, Tony Harrison, Carl Jeynes, Pete Stephens, Paul Vedmore, Dave Onions, Luke Purdy and Steve Morton Lee. They won 3 ½ to 2 ½. Rob said: ‘Firstly let me big up Richard Jones and his team for the superb condition of the course - they do a great job which does not go unnoticed by us, the members, or the opposition. The team were excellent to a man today. Gloucester put out a strong team but not strong enough as we won 3 1\2 to 2 1/2. Got to say a special thanks to Tony Byrne my playing partner today who had a good game and was a pleasure to play with. It was decided (by me before we even started) that Del Sims was going to get the Cock of the Day as it was not presented last match and he thought he had got away with it. Not on my watch!!!! Must also mention the fact that Gloucester enjoyed the day so much that they are looking to play their end of season away day at Puckrup. So well done to all involved from the staff to the players as we’re all one team making Puckrup stand out from the rest in a positive way.’
