    ()

The B Team were at home to Lydney on Saturday, 19 August 2017.

bigpicThe Team was captained by Rob Dore with Tony Harrison, Tony Byrne, Dave Onions, John Doyle, Derek Sims, Luke Purdy, Steve Morton Lee, Paul Vedmore, Tom Stephens, Carl Jeynes and Ralph Young. Puckrup won 5 - 1 Rob said: ‘All I can say is the B team were awesome today. We had our return match against Lydney who beat us 4/2 on their course and we were looking for revenge. In windy conditions everybody played well to return a 5 and 1 victory. It would take up too much space to say who won so I will just narrow it down to Tom Stephns and ‘Twiggy’ (John Doyle) who lost. The cock was won by Dave Onions who decided to ring the bell on the 17 with his approach shot to the green. There was a special prize for one of the opposition who had a 2 on the last and kept banging on about it so we presented him with a pack of two ply toilet rolls.’
